Very nice job on the stitching and finish. (I had a name change.) I hit up the sale at Tandy on Friday and got two nice ten square foot pieces of leather holsters. But… I have nothing to make out of it. The only knife that I would want to make a nice sheath for, I don’t own yet, and my pistols already have pistol holsters. This may have been a bad idea to buy. What have you all made? I need ideas to kill my weekend LonghunterCO

5/1/2012 5:15:32 AM The only advantages I see to the drop in are not having to cut off the delta ring and the drop ins are a couple oz lighter than the FF but that might be off set by the loss of the delta ring assembly anyways. The Magpul MOE are a couple oz lighter than the drop in MI. Glock031

8/22/2011 1:44:38 AM I run the ElZetta mount on my rifle, and there is nothing uncomfortable about using it. I run a Tango Down stubby VFG on my rifle and was thinking about going to the Magpul Magpul AFG but wasn’t sure if it would work. From the pic it looks like it would. I wouldn’t attempt to use an Magpul AFG with a 7″ handguard and light like that. The Magpul AFG is designed with longer (10″, 11″, 12″ or longer) handguards in mind. I just received an Magpul AFG -2 yesterday that slated to go on a 16″ bbl rifle with a 12″ handguard. I tried it a rifle with a 9″ handguard last night and I wouldn’t want to try and use a light with. bluefalcon
